1. AMAX-190 operation software
(a) Insert program disk and type a:install <Enter>
(b) Press F10,
(c) In Question asking about “Lab Name:” etc, type in the same name
Eg. Lab Name: Lab name <enter>
Contact Name: Contact name <enter>
….
(d) In Question asking about QC, put in a future date.
Eg. Level 1
Manufacturer: SIGMA
Expire Day: 31 <enter>
Exp. Month: 12 <enter>
Exp. Year: 2010 <enter>
6. AMAX-190 service program.
· Insert service program in drive a and type a:install,
· Select language, E for english.
7. Edit autoexec.bat
(a) Type c:>cd\ <enter>
(b) Type c:>edit autoexec.bat <enter>
(c) Check / Edit the content as follow:
REM @CD\
REM @CD AW
REM @LOADHIGH AW.EXE /O:H /M:A
REM @CD\
@ECHO OFF
SET PROMPT=$P$G
CLS
ECHO Please power up the AMAX-190, wait for 2 minutes,
ECHO Then hit “Enter” key
PAUSE
CD \AMAX
AMAX
(d) Hit <Alt> + <X> to exit, say “Yes” to save the document.
8. Edit config.sys
(a) Type c:>cd\ <enter>
(b) Type c:>edit config.sys <enter>
(c) Check / Edit the content as follow:
DOS=HIGH
FILES=30
BUFFERS=50
(d) Hit <Alt> + <X> to exit, say “Yes” to save the document.
(e) Reboot and quit to DOS platform by pressing F5 during power up.
9. Edit amax.ini
(a) Type c:>cd\ <enter>
(b) Type c:>edit amax.ini <enter>
(c) Put in command(s) that will be used for the environment of the instrument. (Please refer to service manual chapter 15 for all the commands)
(d) For AMAX-190 Plus with > SN:00Q50775, type in new line 4BITO. (Details please refer to Technical Update - am0110) |
