错误关机造成的数据库丢失，在重新启动时，需要修复数据库。在启动时，屏幕出现的钟表图案一般在20分钟内消失。如果在尝试三次仍不能修复之后。系统数据库需要重新建立。在mpcvan/data/目录下使用”Renew”指令。

使用”Renew”后，所有的数据信息都已丢失。”Setup”数据可以恢复，但定标数据和定标样品架设计全部丢失。在"Checking and Renewing Databases"有”Renew”数据库的详细介绍。

LX20中只启动电脑的程序

Step	Action
1	Power on the console.
2	Wait for the words "Starting QNX windows server on node 1..." to appear in the upper left corner of the screen.
3	As soon as these words disappear from the screen, press and hold SHIFT-ALT-C (in that order). Continue holding the keys until the "Booting Console" message appears on the screen.
4	If the pop-up to monitor the boot process appears on the screen, you missed it. If you wait 10 minutes, a red system error "Select Failed" pop-up message will appear on the screen. Select Reboot to reboot the console and try again.

进入QNX的三种方法：

1、经由操作软件进入（必须在LX系统或控制电脑能够启动时）

1	Select the Setup icon on the top of the screen.
2	Page down to page 2 of Setup.
3	Select <8> Service Setup.
4	Use the Password Generator program to generate the password.
5	Enter the password in the appropriate box.
6	CLICK ON THE OK BUTTON. DO NOT HIT THE ENTER KEY. The Enter key is not recognized and the password will not be accepted. You will have to generate another password if you hit the Enter key.
7	Select <2> O/S Access.
8	Answer OK or Continue to the pop-up messages. The screen will turn pink.
9	To access QNX, hit the <CTRL> <PRINT SCRN> keys on the keyboard.
10	The screen will go black. Hit the Enter key to get a prompt.
11	Follow instructions which are specified in procedure of interest.

2、使用QNX启动软盘

Step	Action
1	Insert the QNX boot diskette (p/n 657163) in the MPC floppy drive.
2	If a pop-up with options to Shutdown or Reboot is on the screen, select Shutdown. When System Halted appears in the upper left corner of the MPC screen, cycle power on the MPC console.
3	If the clock is on the screen, it is relatively safe to cycle power on the MPC console. At this time the system has completed downloading to the smart modules. NOTE DO NOT CYCLE POWER IF THE SYSTEM HAS NOT COMPLETED SMART MODULE DOWNLOAD. IF POWER IS CYCLED BEFORE SMART MODULE DOWNLOAD IS COMPLETE, SOFTWARE MAY HAVE TO BE RELOADED.
4	With QNX boot diskette in floppy drive, power on console and wait for the ($) prompt which indicates the system is booted to QNX. NOTE: The new consoles take an additional 2 minutes to reach the $ prompt.
5	When the system has booted to QNX, the prompt ($) will not contain the path. To determine which directory you are in, type: Pwd
6	Execute QNX commands per appropriate procedure.

3、通过PC（Laptop）的网络连接
Step		Action
PC Setup:
1	Connect an RJ45 cable to any unoccupied hub position except #5.
2	Connect the other end of the RJ45 to the ethernet card on the PC.
3	Access TCP/IP settings by (1) Right click on the Network Neighborhood icon and select Properties. Under Configuration, highlight TCP/IP and click on Properties. OR Access TCP/IP settings by (2) Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel. Then double click on Network. Under Configuration, highlight TCP/IP and click on Properties.
4	Set the TCP/IP properties for the PC t IP = 134.217.96.32 Subnet = 255.255.252.0 Default Gateway = 134.217.99.254 NOTE: The IP address on the PC must be the same IP address specified on the System Configuration screen on the MPC Console. 134.217.96.32 is typically the value of the IP address. If 134.217.96.32 does not work and you can't access the information, try 134.217.96.177.
5	If the PC is using Windows NT, you only have to change the settings and click on the Apply button. If the PC is using Windows 95, the PC will have to be rebooted for the new settings to take effect. Reboot PC if needed.
6	Go to the DOS prompt (DOS shell).
Checking connection with MPC console:
7	Ensure the MPC console is powered ON and booted or booting.
8	To determine if the PC and the MPC console are communicating, type the following command at the DOS prompt: ping 134.217.96.176
9	If the instrument and the laptop are communicating, you will see a "reply" to the ping. If not, you get a "no response" message. If you don't get a response, you must fix that problem before proceeding.
10	Exit DOS.
Establishing the connection between the MPC Console and the PC:
11	Ensure the MPC console is either be booted to Standby and/or Stopped, has a red fatal pop-up (Reboot/Shutdown) or has the large clock on the screen before executing any QNX commands. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in reloading software.
12	Start a telnet session on the PC by clicking on Start, select Run and enter telnet in the "open" box. Click on OK to start the telnet session. A DOS shell with "telnet" at the top will appear when the session has started.
13	From the telnet menu options, select Connect then select Remote System.
14	In the Host Name box, enter 134.217.96.176 (This is the IP address of the MPC console unless it has been changed to accommodate 2 LX20s on a single datalogger PC).
15	The Port setting should remain telnet and the Term Type should remain vt100.
16	Click on the Connect button.
17	When prompted for a user name, enter lx20 (case sensitive).
18	When prompted for a password, enter lx20 (case sensitive).
19	The QNX prompt will appear on the telnet screen when the connection has been established. You may have to hit the Enter key to get the QNX prompt.
20	Following the QNX commands specified in the procedure of interest.

装载试剂时的液面检测失败问题：

装载试剂时，试剂针的工作过程有一点需要注意：此时，系统提前打开了液面检测器，所以在装载试剂时，轻微的摩擦即会导致错误的液面检测信号。
