CODE: ER2201 SHORTMESSG: CAN_BUS_ERROR
DETAILED DESCRIPTION: --------------------- Function controller ROT cannot transmit or receive on CAN interface.
Reason for error: ----------------- - PDS not properly jumpered - CAN communication disturbed - Defective cables or carbon brushes or data slip ring - MASTER_SP defective - ROT defective
What to do? ----------- 1: Perform the test 'Service/Test/CAN' for at least 3 minutes, then press Done. Replace firmware and board of asynchronous controller which is failing in field 'Service/MSI/Req_T02/can_rec_liveck_d' on page 8. 2: Check the line adaption for the PDS. 3: Check F5 on MASTER_SP. 4: Check F4, F5, F6 of the ACS transfomer. 5: Check surface and carbon brushes of the data slip ring. 6: Measure the "24V" voltage on D30 testpoints X33-X12 (CommPos-CommNeg) on MASTER_SP and remove consecutively the following connections on MASTER_SP: X7 (PHS_SP), X10 (DAT_COL_RI_SP), X4 (KEY1), X5 on ROT (KEY2) and at last X2 (ROT). If "24V" is increasing by disconnecting one of the controllers, either the controller itself or the coresponding cable may be defective : ROT: W101 KEY2: W114 KEY1: W103 PHS_SP: W127 ROSY_SP: W210 DAT_COL_RI (to ROSY_SP and XRS): W108 7: Replace MASTER_SP ( D30+D332+FW ). 8: Replace the rectifier of the ACS transformer. 9: Replace the ACS transformer. 10: Replace ROT.
