CODE: ED2501 SHORTMESSG: can_comm_error
DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
---------------------
The controller DMS has not been able to transmit a command within
a specified time period.
Reason for error:
-----------------
- Faulty cables or connectors.
- Wrong PDS line adaption.
- Data slip ring.
- MASTER_SP D30 is defective.
- ROSY_SP D5 is defective.
- Faulty ACS transformer.
What to do?
-----------
1: Run the test 'Service/Test/CAN' for 2 minutes, then click "Done".
Call up 'Service/MSI/Req_T02/can_rec_liveck_d' on page 8 and replace
the controller which failed.
2: Check the line adaption of the PDS.
3: Check cables and connectors W101, W114, W103, W127, W108 and W210
and the surface/carbons of the data slip ring.
4: Check fuse F5 on MASTER_SP D30.
5: Scope the supply voltage to the MASTER_SP at MP X36 (24V).
In case of noise/spikes:
a) check F4, F5, F6 in ACS trafo.
b) check rectifier V2.
else
6. Replace MASTER_SP D30.
7. Replace ROSY_SP D5.
8: Replace the ACS transformer.
